The American Museum of Magic is the largest privately owned museum of its kind open to the public. The Museum houses the collection of writer, historian and collector Robert Lund. Robert Lund was born in Saginaw, Michigan in 1925. He worked as a reporter and editor on the newspapers in Detroit, Chicago and New York. For 33 years he was a writer and editor for the magazine division of the Hearst Corporation. He has been honored by the International Brotherhood of magicians, the Society of American Magicians, the Automotive Hall of Fame, the American Association for State and Local History, Historical Society of Michigan and the Marshall Historical Society. Robert cofounded the American Museum of Magic in Marshall with his wife Elaine.
