The Molitors Mill in Arts & Equipment Museum Directory

The mill was erected in 1824 by the tanner Christoph Denhard and the armourer Nikolaus Scholzen. In the beginning it served as oil and tan mill and for grinding forgery products. It belonged to the district of Dreiersbach on the Brühlsgässchen, that is, on the brook Föhrenbach. Since July 7, 1830 the mill is in the property of our family. The new owner was Johann Molitor 17911870 who stemmed from the mill Büchelsmühle. During his time the mill was set up for husking and milling grain, and permission was obtained to add a second pair of millstones.
